Sharpening the ends can be tricky unless you have a very sharp wheel. You might have to touch up the nub left over. I would recommend chamfering the corners with a homemade fixture (if possible for you). This allows the endmill corners to not become so wear prone. I would forgo the radius fixture.

They work well enough for what they are, a relatively inexpensive and simple way to quickly sharpen most common sized endmills to good enough condition for most milling work.

4609. Normally, you would not use an air cylinder to sharpen an end mill. You need a grinder. There are very simple fixtures that use a 5C collet to sharpen the ends only on a surface grinder. I have one and it is very easy to use. Of course, the Darex and similar tool grinders do ends.
